"Fantastic place to eat , great menu and speedy service with lovely surroundings in winter or summer. We eat out regularly at least once a week and am in the process of booking back again for this Sunday, if the service is still the best we've experienced previously then I will be passing my recommendations on to all family and my large group of friends."

"We've been here a few times with a large corporate group and every time has been excellent. Those who bleat on about not being local need to stop being so paranoid, we are most certainly not local (pretty much from all corners of the country) and have never felt out of place! Usually with big groups the service suffers (believe me we've experienced it!) but the Baraset is a cut above the rest, brilliant food, brilliant and friendly staff and overall a pleasure to eat there. Oh and by the way the Owner/Manager is a joy to deal with, yes she's a bit mad but in a good way! Always friendly, always mucking in and always welcoming. We have had numbers of over 40 people down to 15 but never been let down, happy to recommend the Baraset Barn for its food quality, service, staff etc....we'll be back (again!!)."

"Took a party of 14 for a works "do" recently.....it was brilliant!! No mean feat when you consider that there was a party of 45 in the upper restaurant and every other table was booked too. Our waiter, James, took our order quickly (along with some good natured heckling!!) and our food was served in no time at all. Every meal was as ordered and the food was absolutely superb. "Visited for lunch today after a lovely hours walk from Tardibigge along the towpath! There is a lovely outside eating area alongside the canal. Inside the pub is tastefully decorated and very welcoming. Some very comfortable seating in the bar area or you can dine in the restaurant. There is a lunch menu consisting of pizzas, sandwiches & salads or you can choose from the full menu. The salad bar was tasty with a good selection of items. Service was efficient and friendly. My pizza was delicious, no room for pudding!!"
